Jacob (coin case) / Armate (Italian camouflage leather)
The leather used is a soft leather printed with a camouflage pattern containing Italian oil. The interior leather is the same Italian oil leather, giving it a vintage feel.
The button snaps are made with high precision in Japan, with matte black plating on brass, and fasten securely with a satisfying click.
The edges of the leather are processed using a technique called cut processing, which makes them more durable than leather with turned edges. Even if the edges deteriorate, it is possible to repair them in some cases, and they are given a beautiful, smooth matte finish during the manufacturing process.
The coin case has been designed with clever stitching to give it a slightly bulging shape.
The name Jacob comes from the scallop shell design, which is the symbol of the Christian apostle James. In French, the scallop shell is called "Saint James' shell," so the name was chosen.
